Wolves have long been a symbol of striking beauty in nature, their elusive behavior maintaining a certain mystery about them.  But make no mistake the biggest threat to them is us.  

Wolf population in the US has been a highly politicized topic, with wolves bouncing back and forth from being protected and listed as endangered to lifting those protections and allowing legal hunting.   Just as recent as April of this year the federal goverment lifted all remaining protections on the US wolf populations in defense of farmers losing livestock to the wild animals. 

Our current contiguous US population sits under 7,000 individuals, and this includes both the Mexican gray wolf and the Red wolf which went extinct in the wild in the 1980's and conservation groups have worked tirelessly to repopulate since then.  Help us support wolf conservation with this new shirt!
